My passion is to make health and fitness accessible to everyone. I enjoy helping people to find ways of making small changes to their day-to-day habits that make a big impact to their health, confidence and wellbeing.
Sometimes this comes from a goal of weight loss, sometimes this is working towards a big challenge, others just want to get beach ready. My clients all have one thing in common, that they are totally unique. No two people have the same wants or needs from training and working with people to overcome their personal barriers and achieve what they want is the most important part of my job.
So who am I and how did I get here?
I have been working in the fitness industry since 2005. Most recently I was working for a large fitness chain while I was studying for my MSc and sports massage diploma, before leaving to set up Strive Fitness. However, I have not always been interested in fitness. I fell out of love with sports and fitness while I was at secondary school. I didn’t like my teachers and lost all confidence in playing sports that I had loved when I was younger. It was only when one coach noticed me playing in a lesson and made an effort to encourage me to start a new sport that I ended up back enjoying training and competing again, and ultimately studying and working in the way that I do now.
Having learned a lot, worked with a hundreds of people, seen fads diets and exercises come and go and the success and failure of other programs we are now in the fortunate position to put all of the good things we have seen together to hopefully be able to create a health and fitness package to suit any budget.
